Steer Hide Prices Steady to Lower Today

Steer hide prices were reported steady to lower, as sellers indicated continued resistance from Chinese buyers. Korean buyers were more active than usual, but most bids tracked steady to lower and volumes were small. Export sales for the week of April 1 were lower than the prior week, as expected. It is expected the following week to report more reduced figures based on the week’s limited activity.
