LCFS Credit Volume Moves Higher as Q1 Reporting Deadline Approaches

 

LCFS Credit Volume Exceeds 2021 Weekly Average for First Time in Seven Weeks

LCFS credit volume rebounded in this week’s weekly credit transfer report.  Weekly LCFS credit volume of 499,944 was 319 percent over last week and eight percent above the 2021 weekly average of 462,719.  Second quarter volume is two percent below first quarter volume but 21 percent over Q2 of 2020. The average price paid per credit increased $3.02 to $190.44. Of the 54 transactions posted, Type 1 transfers totaled 58,944 credits and Type 2 transfers 441,000 credits. Type 1 transfers accounted for 19 percent of the transactions and 12 percent of the volume.
