Organic Corn Prices Remain Stable Despite Prompt Conventional Corn Rally

 

Organic corn prices are stable, and there does not yet seem to be any impact from the Pipeline Foods Bankruptcy. As a reminder, the first hearing on the Pipeline Foods Bankruptcy is scheduled for 7/14/21. It’s unlikely that any questions related to forward contracts and the ability of buyers to collect or sellers to reject will be answered tomorrow. Organic corn prices in the mid-west are between $9 and $9.30 delivered, while prices in California remain bid near $425 per short ton. Corn on the east coast and corn in Texas remain near similar levels. The increase in demand for trucking usage has kept the price of shipping at relatively elevated levels near $3.25 per mile per load. Check out our
