The number of bids for US hides were greater today than earlier this week on news of improvement in COVID-19 cases in Southeast Asia and the possible reopening of factories in the near future. While the number of bids increased, the bid prices continue to be lower than current trading levels.  The wet blue market continues firm which is the reasoning behind limited cured packer hide offers. Shipping remains a challenge with sellers reporting that at most ports, material has been docked with 10 or more vessels anchored ahead.
