Consumers appear to be covered for their Q4 organic corn needs, and there does not seem to be any rush to cover Q2. Organic corn is trading near the $9 level in the Western mid-West, and trading slightly above that level as you move into the central mid-west, hovering near $9.25 per bushel. On the west coast organic corn is trading near $425 per short ton or $11.90. Imports are scarce and are near domestic organic corn prices. In Quebec, organic corn prices are close to $9.15 per bushel for Q4 and $9.25 per bushel for Q1. Prices on the East coast of the United States in the PA region are trading between $11 and $11.50 per bushel.
