The US hide market started the week on a quiet note following the Thanksgiving holiday in the US. Lightweight Colorado Branded Steers were one of the only active trades today, but Branded Steers were indicated steady. Sources report there is still strong demand, but the market remains under pressure due to the new concerns about the omicron variant and its potential impact on the global economy.
