Hemp has a novel edge over other building materials of comparable performance or cost.  The marketing appeal of cannabis cannot be underestimated and will help to drive hemp materials markets in a variety of sectors.  Its ability to address environmental issues and provide needed revenues to farmers, as well as subsequent jobs from manufacturing and processing, will provide primary impetus for growth.  All things being equal, hemp is far more marketable than the alternatives.
