Chinese Real Estate Market Weighs On Domestic Furniture Sales

Midweek trading activity was sideways except for Colorado branded steers which traded $0.50 down for light weight material and $1 down on regular weight material. 

Most demand was for cowhides, Colorado branded and branded steers. Most interest is from China, Japan, Thailand and some from Mexico. 

A few sellers in the market reported discounted offers to tanners from packers if material can be shipped next week. 

Sellers reported less jumbo weighted hides available in the market, but have seen more heifers available to trade.
