Market Update

The hide market ended the week with some activity as prices were pressed lower. Prices for light weight butt branded steers decreased by $0.50 per piece, while regular weights saw a $0.75 drop. Prices for Colorado branded steers were reduced by $0.50 for all weights. Northern and Southwestern branded cows sold at $0.25 below yesterday’s price levels. Branded bulls traded down $1.00, dropping to a final price of $9.00
