Heavy Texas Steers Trade $2 Up

Heavy Texas Steers Trade $2 Up

Market Update

Steer trading was active today at steady levels except for heavy Texas steers (HTS) trading $2 higher than last reported price levels. Buyers in demand for HTS were willing to pay higher prices for material to receive prompt shipment and sellers were able to raise prices due to tight supply.
Buyers of steer hides were more willing to pay steady to current market pricing this week without much resistance giving sellers more confidence to try raising their counters and offers next week.
