Argentine Slaughter totaled 1.3 million heads in June, two percent above the prior month of May, and up 15 percent compared to last year.
Current slaughter continues at a firm pace.
Good quality Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steer are still unchanged from prior weeks at about US$0.49 per kg.
The sales market continues to be depressed, with little demand for raw, wet blue or semi-finished leather.
