We’ve written about the novel circumstances impacting supply chains since the debut of COVID, and the resulting opportunities for hemp operators.  The pivot to hand sanitizer production by CBD extraction facilities with deep inventories of ethanol is one example of the unforeseen circumstances that businesses found themselves in.

Some sectors were blindsided by the extraordinary demand that arose from widespread lockdowns.  Boats, recreational vehicles, cars, and toilet paper are just a few of the items that sellers could not get enough of.  The frustrating powerlessness to serve this explosive demand was a stark lesson for manufacturers.
