The hemp will be grown by farmers in Angus and Aberdeenshire.  The scope of the SIF-funded effort is a full-scale two month aquafeed assessment.  This follows a feasibility study last year to determine whether hempseed could be integrated into Scotland’s farmed salmon industry.
