Ethanol Production Drops as Stocks Uptick

Trading activity for wheat midds was relatively quiet. There was one active trade reported, which resulted in a price increase in Kansas City. Sources indicate that prices remain steady in Minneapolis and Buffalo. However, farm mills continue to run over the weekend despite weak feed demand.

Values for the CME grains were lower mid-week. Corn dropped $0.0475 to $4.81/bu, while soybeans improved to $13.55/bu with a slight increase of $0.0175. This improvement was largely due to a boost in U.S. export demand. Additionally, soymeal was at $412.70/st with a decrease of $5.60. Wheat dropped $0.2125 to settle at $6.35/bu.
