Soybean Harvest Progress Soars 20 Percent WOW

Sources reported quiet trading for wheat midds, indicating steady levels. However, market participants reported trades for DDGS with price ranges falling in both Indiana and Ohio.

Most CME grain prices witnessed a downward trend on Wednesday. The only grain that experienced an increase was December corn, which jumped by $0.025 and closed at $4.88/bu. November soybeans decreased by $0.19 and settled at $12.52/bu. Additionally, December soymeal dropped by $0.40 and closed at $377.10/st., and December wheat fell by $0.025 to $5.56/bu. The anticipation for the upcoming WASDE report by the USDA has caused most grains to close in the red today. Soybeans experienced a significant decline, with a double-digit drop attributed to the USDA’s latest crop progress report resulting in a one-point reduction in quality ratings.
