Argentine slaughter totaled 1.16 million head in September, 6% below the month prior and 2% less on year-on-year compassion. Slaughter has been decreasing moderately since last May.
Current slaughter is slow.
Good quality Buenos Aires wet salted heavy steer prices continue their trend upwards, quoting now at about US$0.68 per kg, with upward pressure.
Profitability of the hide market is difficult to evaluate at the moment while the market is unstable.
Footwear and handbag business is steady, automobile leather is down.
Lineapelle did not bring much positivity to the marketplace.

Slaughter remains unchanged.
