Tuesday’s hide trading activity was minimal but is expected to ramp up after sellers’ offer lists are released tonight. Several sellers shared with the Jacobsen that they plan to release similar offer lists to last week, in terms of size and items. Most sellers are well sold on cow hides and a few steer hide selections, but there are a few steer hide selection that are more difficult to sell.

A few automotive tanners were interested in buying small volumes of material last week and are expecting April pickups to be higher than in March but are subject to change.
