US heavy native steer price begins to stabilize following volatility in recent years

Hide trading in the US was minimal on Wednesday June 26, with sources reporting limited activity.

Regular-weight heavy Texas steers (HTS) traded up by $1.25 per piece to $24 per piece, and regular-weight heavy native heifers (HNH) traded up by $0.50 per piece to $23 per piece.

Meanwhile, regular-weight heavy branded heifers (HBH) traded up by $0.75 per piece to $17.50 per piece.
