Trend of higher ruminant bloodmeal prices continues

Ruminant meat and bone meal (MBM) was lower out of the Illinois market on Friday December 13, and feathermeal traded lower out of the Alabama/Georgia market late on Thursday December 12.

The overall tone of the market was quiet on Friday, with buyers and sellers looking ahead to the end of the year and the logistics challenges that will come with two mid-week holidays.

For the week through December 13, the trend of weaker MBM and stronger bloodmeal prices continued.
