USA BioEnergy has completed the purchase of land for its greenfield sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production facility in East Texas, the company announced on Tuesday January 14.

The facility will be located in Bon Wier, Texas, on the Louisiana border about 90 miles north of Port Arthur, a busy fuel shipping port.

USA BioEnergy signed a 20-year offtake agreement with Southwest Airlines in November 2023 for up to 680 million gallons of neat SAF.
