Today’s release of the USDA cured hide and wet blue export sales report for week ending October 18 showed sales increased 66% from the previous week at 736,625 from 442,014 and shipments were 42% higher at 668,130 from 469,285. For comparison, last week slaughter was 625,000 head, which was eclipsed by both sales and shipments.
