The US hide market was a little more active today, although confirmed trades were limited with many of the bids and asking prices too far apart to motivate either side. A few buyers are showing interest, but only at down prices, indicating they have enough stock considering sluggish leather business. Some of the reported packer sales this week include HNS at $65, BS from $48 to $50 and butts at $57.50.
