Last week the US hide market remained unchanged with the standoff between buyers and sellers keeping prices in check and volumes down. Butt branded steers traded from $62 to $63, HNS from $66 to $67 and HTS from $53 to $55 FOB plant and the Jacobsen Hide Index closed on Friday at $54.24 from $53.60 the week prior.
