Market Activity & Analysis

Activity was quiet in the US hide market for the second consecutive week with fewer new orders and prices mostly steady. Both tanners and packers seemed content with their respective positions and unwilling to budge on price ideas with HNS trading from $64 to$65, BBS from $59 to $62 and BS and HTS between $51 to $53. Interest for BBS and HNS remained good, but supply was limited with few or none offered by the major packers.
