Activity was slower in the US hide market with a stalemate between producers and Asia tanners dampening new business. Prices for the most part remained unchanged, but tanners and packers both seemed content with their respective positions and unwilling to budge on price ideas. Once again, HNS traded from $63 to $64, BBS from $59 to $60 and HTS, BS and CBS between $49 and $53.
