Shipments to slaughter totaled 1.03 million head in June, 5% less than in May but 7% more than in the sixth month of 2016. Meanwhile, considering only business days, the inter-annual comparison shows a rise of only 2%. Thus, June became the eighth month out of the last twelve in which the slaughter showed a year-on-year growth.
