The market remains quiet with early offers mostly steady as producers look to hold prices. There is a small amount of interest although tanners are still talking about slow business, poor split prices and tough environmental regulations. The large kill adds a challenge for packers and hide suppliers trying to keep the market stable as they have managed to do for the past few weeks.
