The week could be pivotal for the US hide market with both sides looking to see if the increased volumes of trading at the end of last week was enough to put a floor under the slide which has continued since the Hong Kong leather fair. As predicted, some of the offer lists are smaller with most steady. While some buyers are starting to investigate what hides will be available, bids and early trading are scarce.
