It is not clear if a week’s worth of hides were sold this week, which had a slow start but finished on a firmer, busier note. Hides traded from steady to slightly higher with better-grading material once again preferred. Sources noted that BBS and HNS were in tighter supply and there seemed to be an abundance of heavier weight hides. Most hides currently are shipping above seasonal and ordered weights.
