The US hide suppliers found buyers enough to keep production moving but ended up taking around a dollar less than last week for steers while keeping most cows close to steady. As always, there are a few exceptions. Heavy Native Steers traded from $74 to $75, BBS from $71 to $73 and HTS from $67 to $69. There are a number of reports that volume business was taken at lower prices, which if correct, should show up in the next week’s export sales…
