The US hide market traded steady to firm most of the week on light trading. A few people noted there was a small pick-up of interest from the last two weeks, but most bids were under levels producers were willing to take. A couple selections this week traded higher by $1 or $2 and some traded steady. BS, HTS and CBS prices were on the higher side trading up to $64, $66 and $57 respectively.
