This week there was a small bounce for popular steer selections with prices increasing $1 to $2 on several selections. Included were BBS at $70, HNS at $72, BS at $62 and HTS at $63. However, several suppliers reported that most of the larger overseas tanners resisted and bought very few hides which may mean that volumes were thin this week.
