Market Activity & Analysis

The hide market is off to a slow start following a relatively decent couple weeks of sales and a slowing rate of price decent. Eventually, the market will find a bottom and there are some hoping that enough hides sold recently for it to happen now; however, opinions are mixed and the jury is still out. A few offerings are steady with last week’s and several bids appear similar to last week with most prices a few dollars below market levels.
