No significant changes in terms of slaughter. The hide market is currently a buyer’s market as raw hide prices continue to fall. Buenos Aires wet salted steers are trading at around $1.35-$1.40 per kg. Wet blue drop splits have collapsed; there are no offers over US$1.06 per kg.

The trade is entering the time of the year of slower business.
