There was no noticeable change with hide prices this week as focus shifted to Hong Kong. The APLF leather fair begins March 30 through April 1, but a number of people are already visiting Asia customers and more are on the way.

The volume of hides traded was lower as were bids and a number of sources note many of the buyers are expecting prices to drop after the fair.
