Soybean Crush Central Illinois

The estimated crush margin fell 4.7% or 11 cents per bushel over the past week. Soybean prices moved lower, which by itself would improve margins, however, the value received for the crush outputs decreased faster than the value of the soybeans. Soybean prices fell by 40 cents per bushel, or 3.9%, while the value received from soybean oil and meal sales per bushel of beans crushed dropped by 51 cents.
