The US hide market remains slow this week with the Asia markets in holiday mode for the Lunar New Year.

Without exception, everyone is relieved that the West Coast ports dispute looks to be behind us and even though bookings are still scarce, the ports are ramping up activities. It will take several months to return to normal but at least for now the process has begun. How will this affect the hide market for now becomes the question…
