Another week has passed without resolution for the West Coast ports slowdown. Yesterday’s USDA exports report indicated a fair amount of material* is still making it through, but schedules are out the door and huge inventories are amassing. Once an agreement is reached, it will take a lot of time to get the backlogs moving with some pundits estimating it could take up to a couple months.

The hide market was relatively quiet this week…
