September Biodiesel Imports Largest Since 2017

U.S. biodiesel imports surged to a multi-year high in September and may end the year with the most volume since 2016. That was the year Argentina and Indonesia were cited for aggressive trade practices, anti-dumping and countervailing duties being applied to imports from their countries. Export activity softened for the fourth consecutive month, falling to a six-month low but remained on pace to exceed the record-setting export volume of 2022.
