US 2024/25 corn, soybean export sales climb week on week; wheat down 48%

US corn sales for 2024/25 were reported at 847,400 tonnes in the week to September 12, up by 27.1% from the previous week and landing within the USDA’s expected range of 550,000-1.4 million tonnes, USDA data showed on Thursday September 19.

Much of the increase came from Mexico (280,800 tonnes), unknown destinations (183,400 tonnes), Japan (121,800 tonnes), Spain (71,500 tonnes) and Colombia (67,000 tonnes). The USDA groups undisclosed destinations under the umbrella term “unknown.”
