The market was flat last week with a relatively small amount of business and prices steady to lower. The surge of Korean sales that in the earlier part of May gave respite to the sliding hide market, did not sustain and insufficient follow-through business has taken the wind out of the market’s sails for the time being. June is typically a slow month for the US hide market and going into it today, there does not appear to be anything different…
