Argentine beef exports reached 78 thousand tec in July, which has recovered from the month-on-month drop in June. The record total of 913 thousand carcass equivalent tons accumulated during the last 12-months has not been reached within the 60 years. Even though prices improved, they still are 23% lower in the year-on-year comparison.
Quarter three had a monthly average of 80 thousand tons of carcass equivalent (tec) which has returned to the rates from the last quarter of 2019 marking 10 thousand tec less than the all-time record for the last calendar quarter of 2019.
