Wildfires Threaten Homes and Lives

Agricultural crops have seen declining ratings as the season progresses. Roughly a quarter of the US corn crop in the 18 major corn producing states rated “Fair” last week, while 9% rates “Poor” and 5% of the overall crop rated “Very Poor”.  This leaves 45% of the crop rating “Good” and the remaining 15% as “Excellent”.  This is a good illustration of the variability of crop performance around the country, and hemp is no exception.  We do not believe a similar decline in the overall hemp crop will have sufficient impact on supply or hemp prices.  Wildfires remain an unknown though.
