 yesterday that offers a stark glimpse at a global crisis that is spinning out of control.  The report draws on over 14,000 peer-reviewed studies that “unequivocally” demonstrate the scope of the crisis. 

Climate change is no longer an abstract concept that exists somewhere in the future.  Fires are creating their own weather as a result of the magnitude of the Dixie and Bootleg fires in California and Oregon.  The National Weather Service in Medford, OR is warning residents of “excessively hot, very unstable and dry air”.  The 5-day outlook below, from Maxar’s Weather Desk shows the next heat dome occupying the PNW, indicating the departure from average in degrees F:
