Oregon CFP Credit Bank Shows First Back-to-Back Quarterly Draws

Second Quarter Oregon CFP Credit Production Improves 

Oregon’s Clean Fuels Program (CFP) saw biofuel performance improve following a disappointing first quarter start to 2021.  Credit generation increased 32 percent over Q1 while deficit generation climbed 29 percent. The percentage increase in quarterly credits was larger than the increase in deficits, although it was not large enough to prevent another quarterly draw on banked credits.   Second quarter credit generation was 28 percent above Q2 2020, and deficit generation was 39 percent over Q2 2020.
