Hide offers were released last night and more will be released tonight due to the delayed start to the week for some sellers. So far, some sellers who released offer lists last night have already received interest from buyers at similar price levels as last week. Also, the items in demand are consistent with those which were in demand from the week prior. These selections include hides of Dairy Steers, Dairy Cows and Branded Cow.  
Some buyers are reluctant to buy at steady to current market levels because of decreasing split prices and the lack of urgency to buy before the Lunar New Year holiday. One source reported drop splits for US dairy cows were trading around 4400 RMB per metric ton.
