Prices were mostly unchanged today with the exception of Butt Branded Steers (BBS) increasing $1 to return to last week’s closing levels. Some customers in the automotive and furniture sectors are still expressing willingness to buy at the higher prices.

The Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) reported the November hide and leather Producer Price Index (PPI) at 58 points, up 73 percent from July’s all-time low of 33 points and a return to pre-pandemic levels.
