Luxury Footwear Sales Rebound Post-Pandemic

Bids, mainly from Korea and Thailand, are significantly lower than the current price levels, which is an indication that there is little urgency to buy at this time. Midweek trading was quiet while sellers wait for Chinese tanners to return from Golden Week. However, the Chinese government ordered several tanneries to remain closed by taking an extended holiday break. Other tanneries have been ordered to limit operations. These orders have been implemented because of the energy shortage in the country. The orders are spreading throughout China and some of the specific regions that have been affected are the provinces of Jiangsu, Fujian and Gansu.
