The US hide market remained relatively quiet on Monday March 3. Market participants noted some downward pressure on steer prices, with trades on butt branded steers (BBS) and Colorado branded steers (CBS) showing slight declines.

Cured, wet blue export shipments by selected countries through February 20

In the week to February 20, cured hide export shipments dropped by 3% to 322,112 pieces, while wet blue export shipments declined by 13% to 125,900 pieces.
