August Biodiesel Imports Rise while Exports Slow
U.S. biodiesel imports reached a five-month high in August and continue to surpass the monthly 2022 import pace. Exports demand was softer in August, falling to a four-month low, but remaining on pace to exceed the record-setting pace of 2022.
Imports through August have reached 314 million gallons, surpassing full-year 2022 imports by more than 30 percent.
